How it works (A brief overview)

Each Challenge is based around a specific area of a town or city. The bigger the city, the more challenge areas there are available. We are able to start and/or finish each challenge directly from your offices, conference/meeting venue, hotel, pub or restaurant or other centrally located area.

We have thoroughly researched each Challenge location and have divided the game areas into a number of zones. Each zone contains a range of challenges and tasks to be attempted.

Points are scored for each task correctly completed with some zones scoring more highly than others. Points awarded for each zone vary depending on its location and size. Zones located further from the starting location are generally worth more points than those located closer to it. Decision-making, therefore, plays an important role throughout the duration of the game.

We start the activity with a group briefing and team split. Teams of between 4 - 6 are usual but we'll liaise with you beforehand with regards to numbers and desired game format.

Teams are given a game pack with maps, compass and instructions and are briefed on some of the important elements of the game regarding safety, timings and rules.

Teams then depart in order to attempt as many challenges as possible within the given time. Depending on the game format chosen, we will advise you beforehand regarding logistics, timings and clothing required for any of the optional additional physical elements that may be included within the game.

Teams reconvene at the given finishing time and location in order to calculate final scores and announce winners. Latecomers will be penalised with point deductions!
